manage to get my hands on the new Parkway Drive album,

im glad they went for the more natural feel of recording then just sit down and get everything electronically "pitch perfect".

everyone should probably ask their mothers for some pocket money and go and get this mother licker.

I've never really gotten into Parkway Drive. They model themselves too much on the likes of Killswitch Engage (no doubt Adam's influence in the production) and while this isn't a bad thing, I don't think they have the same song writing strength nor do they have the melodious break outs that Killswitch tends to use which makes their sound a little fresher in my opinion. Perhaps the new offering will hold something fresh to kindle my interest.

its different to their past releases,

it sounds less restricted and more weened out then forced.

While the album is good, i really dont think it compares to Horizons. I'd say this album has become more 'electronically pitch perfect' than previous ones, with Killing With a Smile being their most natural sounding one.
