If anyone here is getting lag spikes during the game because of wireless all you have to do is go to:

My Computer > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
then scroll down to the bottom to Wireless Zero Configuration
Right click > Stop

or

Start > Run
Services.msc
Scroll down and turn off Wireless Zero Configuration

Wireless Zero Configuration checks for wireless in your area every 5 or 10 seconds, stopping it will stop the lag spikes you get every few seconds during the game =)
I've told cc to turn it off and it worked for him so I thought I might as well tell everyone here who uses wireless
 :D

For Vista
Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
In the Services box scroll down the list of Services (local) and find the one with Wired AutoConfig and double click it and stop it.
Now find WLAN AutoConfig in the Services (local) and stop that too.

Sometimes when you disconnect from your wireless you'll have to turn all that back on so you can connect again.

Thats weird.. If you are already connected to the wireless and you turn that WLAN thing off you should be able to stay connected..

Try this

mm its working perfectly fine for me..
Try this one: http://hosted.filefront.com/tankfist/
and download the Vista lag control.zip
It should have two files inside
-auto off.dos
-auto on.dos
and just open the auto off.dos and it should stop WLAN thing
I have scan the zip so it should be safe
